The MVK Junior High Baseball season is upon us!  All 5th -8th grade boys are welcome to participate.  The first practice will be held on Monday, August 2nd at the Mazon Village Park from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. All players must have a physical prior to the first practice.  The required 6th grade physical will take the place of the sports physical.

We hope to have many players out for baseball allowing for an A and B team with games and tournaments for both teams.  We also have two "C" games for 5th and 6th grade players and may schedule more depending on the number of 5th and 6th graders out for baseball. This season, the A team will be coached by Kirk Houchin and the B team will be coached by Ken Bunker.  If you have any questions, the coaches can be reached by calling Ken Bunker at 815-448-2013 or Kirk Houchin at 815-448-2617.

There is a $25.00 athletic participation fee and parents may also purchase a new hat for $12.00 and socks for $3.00 per pair.  Again this year: fees will be collected at the uniform hand out on August 12th.  Do not send money to practice.  There will be a representative present from the school to take money on August 12th.
